Safe and Hassle-free Testing
At ANDORRA Hospital, we offer COVID-19 Drive-thru test everyday with time slots from 8.30AM until 5.30PM. We use RT-PCR (real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction) that require nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swabs and RTK Antigen type of test via nasopharyngeal swab. The test is usually done in 5-10 minutes at our Emergency Department.

What you need to know upon getting tested with us?
Patient Registration in e-COVID system (IMPORTANT)
Make sure you registered your patient details from Section 1 until 3 before getting tested for Covid-19 at ANDORRA Women & Children Hospital. This is in lieu with MOH's new procedure on Covid-19 results notification through MySejahtera mobile application. Section 4 of this registration will be filled in by our Medical Officers. For Parents-to-be delivering at ANDORRA:
Kindly make sure you are tested 14 days prior to your Estimated Due Date (EDD) of delivery.

For other patients and non-patients:
Kindly make sure you make an appointment 3 days before your desired appointment date to ensure your Covid-19 test goes smoothly and hassle-free with adequate preparation.

Appointment Day:
Arrive at ANDORRA's Emergency Department Drive-Thru 10 minutes early from your confirmed appointment time. Kindly bring your Identification Card and Confirmation Note for our staff to authenticate your identity and payment. The bill will be emailed to you or given by hand if preferred. Drink lots of water to ensure you are hydrated throughout the swab test.

After Swab Test:
Kindly practise social distancing, maintain good hygiene and stay at home for a while. Things you must do while under home surveillance after your Covid-19 test are as follows:​

Be contactable at all times

Limit visitors to your home and list the names of those visiting

Wear a mask if you develop any symptoms or when you go out of your room

Open all windows in your house to ensure good ventilation

Limit your distance with healthy persons(s) at least 1 meter and avoid contact with others

Stay at home during the self-quarantine period

Always practice good cough and sneeze etiquette

Wash hands frequently with soap or use hand sanitiser

Do not share utensils, tableware and personal hygiene items

Covid-19 Swab Test Results:
You will receive your results within 24 hours* for RT-PCR and within 1 hour* for RTK-Antigen (T&C applies). You will be emailed the results to your provided email upon booking an appointment. You can also request to pick up your hardcopy result at ANDORRA hospital's Emergency Department should you require one.
